The coating consists of salt & iron, and poses no significant risks to the environment.
Once the pack is opened the paper will last a few months, and in arid areas or dry conditions it will last for up to a year. However, the paper is very sensitive to gradual exposure over time as well as humidity, so tightly close the pack and avoid humid conditions if possible.
The pre-coated paper is packed 12 sheets at size 12x17 cm, or 5x7 inches.
