Effective Visual Expression was conceived in 1971 by the late Phil Olivier & his wife Bossie, when they realised the growing need for fine art materials in their advertising agency. They travelled to New York on holiday and discovered Grumbacher fine art products. EVE officially opened its doors in 1973 and 47 years later, continues to be one of the leading importers, wholesalers & distributors of fine art & graphic in South Africa. EVE is a multigenerational, family owned business, with Bossie and her son Phil who continue to run the business, & Phil’s son Milan, who joined the business in 2013.
